Bowling Green High School played Russell County in the region tournament for basketball where they defeated them 66-56 and went on to play Warren Central for the title. Bowling Green was lead in scoring by Nacarius Fant who had 22 points.

I Believe That We Have Won.

Bowling Green High School football team won the 5A state championship this year 55-3 against Anderson County. This was the largest margin ever in a Kentucky football state championship game and ended the Purples' season 15-0, the first BGHS football team to ever go undefeated.
