Cage the Elephant.

On September 21st Cage the Elephant, a local band who has recently gained international fame, played a free concert on WKU's south lawn. Matt Shultz, lead singer of Cage, hopped around on stage putting on an amazing show for the audience. Shultz brothers Matt and Brad are pictured above.

WKU PJ Camp.

Downtown Bowling Green hosts the Concert in the Park series every Friday and Wednesday. This is a man who is notorious for his hot dog lunches that he sells during the concerts.

Green County Fair was honestly an adventure. This lady is a game worker with the traveling carnival.

WKU hosts an annual football camp for kids ages K-6. Every year coaches and players come together to put on this event, this is one of the men on the coaching staff for WKU's football team.

A young boy is takes a water break at Western's football camp. Water stations were set up around the football field on the hot day.

This photograph was taken at a special education camp located in downtown Bowling Green, KY. A staff member and camper joined hands as they swung around on small skateboards.

Bowling Green's new skatepark is often host to many vistors, even on the hot summer days. This skater told everyone he was trying to nail a new trick.

Skaters from all around KY come to check out Bowling Green's skatepark. Among the bustle of skaters I captured this photograph.

One of the previous skaters attempts new tricks off the steps in Bowling Green's skatepark.

This summer I had the chance to be part of WKU's student photojournalism camp. Under the direction of Mr. James Kenny and Mr. Tim Broekema you spend a five day time period getting to know your camera. Myself along with fourteen other campers went on multiple day trips in Bowling Green and surrounding counties to capture photographs.

Music.

Although I have yet to have the chance to blog often one of my more frequently blogged about things is music. My younger brother plays guitar and drums and music is a constant companion in my house. My entire family has a music passion. Here is a random drumstick I found laying around the house.

Lucy.

I have always grown up with animals, always. We currently have four cats and a dog. This is "the beast" or Lucy. We adopted her from Repets about a year ago. She is a big gray and brown cat with extra toes (often called thumbs in my house.)

Car Show

Over the past few years my dad has dragged me to some pretty random things, everything from car shows and technology shows to lectures on the moon. These pictures are from an all European car show that I had the joy of going to last summer. I happened to grab my camera heading out the door which made this a lot more entertaining for me! Hope you enjoy!

Trampoline.

One of the first few nice days of Spring we had Taylor and I decided to jump on her new trampoline. I thought it would make for some really good pictures and if not at least we had a littlebit of fun in the process! Here are out pictures!

Go hard or go home.

All season I have had the wonderful joy of photographing and watching Chane Behanan make seemingly impossible shots on the basketball court. He has a love for this game like no other and it has been a personal honor to photograph him in action.

Passion.

This is Peace of Mind a band made up of high schoolers playing at Wah Bah, a local bar&grill. This was my first time I had seen these five guys play and what they truly have is a love and a passion for their music. They may be young but they love what they do and they do it well. Find them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/peaceofmind
